“a step for change” is a small initiative to indicate possible loss of our culture, heritage and arts during random restoration process through Photography and other means.
A photograph can be very powerful tool to make changes against ignorance and wrong decisions. A very perfect example is the picture taken by our friend “Narendra Shrestha” few years back of a small boy with a black scar on his face. Due to that single picture he was able to gain back his original face through surgery. Another example can be a Flex banners with wrong spellings hanged at major places to welcome Indian Prime Minister –Narendra Modi. Due to the pictures, which went viral all over the social media sites, forced the concerned department to replace it over the night.
With your help we want to create awareness and a pressure campaign against all the undesirable activities from Government, Organizations and even from the general people. Say it in a construction, development, alteration of cultural activities and many more to name it here, we can raise voice on issues through writing, photographing and spreading through medias and social medias.
This is our first step to aware everyone about what is going around. Today, our voice may seem like a whisper only but we believe one day we can definitely make it as a loud shout.
